The Greens News
The Greens Cluster committee met on June 4th. We agreed based on feedback from residents that we would replace the 4 large lantern lights at our entrances, as soon as possible. The new lights will be similar in architecture and design to the old lantern lights. However, they will allow for dimmer bulbs so the lights will not over-power the new entrance uplighting. The worn condition and the high cost of retooling the existing lights with new ballasts led the cluster committee to choose to replace the lights. After examining the budget, it is clear that we do have the funds to do that this year.
We also recently installed 8 flats of begonias and 20 boxwoods at the front entrances. We will continue to work on the entrance plantings over the next year or two and make adjustments as necessary. Please let us know if you have specific suggestions about the landscaping. Our goal is to make the entrances beautiful! Thanks to everyone that has been involved with this effort!
