South River Colony residents enjoy two community pools: The North  Pool located off of Colony Crossing (across from the golf course) and The South Pool adjacent to the Conservancy office at 3710 Colony Club Drive.

Pool Rental
The South Pool may be rented for private parties after the pool closes at 8:00 p.m. You will need to check the online calendar for availability, as well with the pool manager to ensure lifeguards are available. If all works, fill out this form and submit it to the Conservancy office and the pool manager with payment at least 10 days prior to the event.

**NEW** Swimteam – Stingrays
It’s that time of year again. Registration for this summer’s swim season will take place at the Estates (South) pool on Monday evening, April 13th, between 5:30 to 5 pm. Please bring your completed registration form, your completed medical release form, a check for the appropriate amount made out to “South River Colony Stingrays” (just bring your checkbooks), and your swimmers, as representatives from Metro Swim Shop will be on-site for swimsuit fittings.
All practices will be held at the South pool, but specific practice times for individual age groups still needs to be determined. The coaching staff will conduct a sink-or-swim evaluation of our very young swimmers during the first 2 weeks of practice to determine their eligibility.
The Stingrays will swim in the Chesapeake division (top) of the Greater Annapolis Swim League (GASL) this year. Our team will compete in 5 swim meets this season against Davidsonville, Cape St. Claire, Indian Landing, Indian Hills, and Hillsmere. As always, the season will conclude with the Bronze, Silver, and Gold championship meets. For vacation planning purposes, dates for the meets are as follows:
June 13th SRC @ Indian Landing
June 20th SRC @ Indian Hills
June 27th Cape St. Claire @ SRC
July 11th Davidsonville @ SRC
July 18th Hillsmere @ SRC
Typically, SRC meets start at 8:30 am and last till around noon. This year, no registrations will be accepted after the first swim meet. Also, if anyone is aware of any neighbors with children who might like to swim with the Stingrays, but were not included on this e-mail, please feel free to forward this e-mail to them.
