Board of Trustees

South River Colony’s Board of Trustees, which includes five volunteers elected by the community, helps to ensure that the community runs smoothly – basically the glue that keeps the community together.

They are responsible for the overall governance of SRCC and the community wide services/benefits that are provided to all members.  Working closely with the Management Company (Legum & Norman), the Board has the authority to act as a business and:

  • Prepare and adopt an annual budget (with advice provided by cluster and neighborhood committees)
  • Provide for the upkeep and maintenance of the property
  • Make and amend rules and regulations
  • Contract for repairs and improvements to the property
  • Enforce the provisions of the governing documents
  • Keep the financial books of the community
