South River Colony’s Board of Trustees, which includes five volunteers elected by the community, helps to ensure that the community runs smoothly – basically the glue that keeps the community together.
They are responsible for the overall governance of SRCC and the community wide services/benefits that are provided to all members. Working closely with the Management Company (Legum & Norman), the Board has the authority to act as a business and:
- Prepare and adopt an annual budget (with advice provided by cluster and neighborhood committees)
- Provide for the upkeep and maintenance of the property
- Make and amend rules and regulations
- Contract for repairs and improvements to the property
- Enforce the provisions of the governing documents
- Keep the financial books of the community

Monthly Board Meetings
The Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at The Hamlet’s Clubhouse. The meetings are open to all homeowners, residents and business property owners/tenants. Please refer to the calendar of events for the actual meeting dates.
